It took 4 days and about 1,500 miles but we have arrived safely at our hotel. They do a lot of transplantations here so the staff is well aware of how it goes. They point out that some folks waiting for a donation have to stay here indefinitely so that they are close to the hospital in the event an organ becomes available. Since Ann is donating, we do at least know when the surgery is supposed to take place.
Tuesday will be a series of tests and pre-operative consultations that starts at 7:00am.
