Although still using the pain pump, Ann made a great step forward by not only getting out of bed but even walking to the opposite hallway to visit Leslie in her room. No nausea and no dizziness which I think impressed the staff. Nonetheless she is not allowed to drink water tonight so that is a big discomfort.
I brought up the subject of flowers and Ann said she definitely does not want any at this time. You see, anything that could cause her to sneeze would be very, very painful.
But thanks for the many well wishes. She has made a great deal of progress in the last few hours.
Tomorrow they will try to get her onto oral pain medication so the nurses said it will be a challenging day. I plan to post the next update about noon on Thursday.

Looking Great Annie!
