Day 9 – Arrived Home

It took considerably effort and energy but we made it home late on the 2nd day of our drive.  We were joined there by two sons plus Ann’s sister, Linda, and her dad, Jim.  A grand reunion has begun and coffee on the deck was the order of the day.  Ann continues to improve a bit each day but also needs rest and naps to continue healing and gaining strength.  Thanks again to all the well-wishers.  This blog looks complete with a happy ending.

A lovely picture on our first morning back home. Ann surrounded by some of her family: Linda, Nick, Ann, and Jim.

Annie, so glad to know you’re home. I’m sure you’ll rest better there. Take care of yourself and let everyone pamper you. You gave Leslie an incredible gift of Louise. Hugs and love, Barbie

I am glad you are home safe and sound. Enjoy your recovery time. I can’t think of a better place to do that, than your Galveston home! We will see you in June.

I have tears in my eyes – I am so happy that everything went so well for both Annie & Leslie. Anna Banana – you rock and you are the best friend ever for Les of A Woman. Wow – who would have thought that the bonds of friendship made so many years ago on Slater 8 would lead to such a selfless and heartfelt act for a friend in need? LOVE YOU BOTH!!!!

With much love from Arizona – Hi
