Day 8 – Checkout

This morning we checked out of the hotel, packed the car to the gills, and then went back to the hospital to get labs and the surgery follow-up consultation with the doctor.  It all went well and we started for home straight from the hospital.

Along the way, Ann needed to get out and stretch her legs every hour or so in order to avoid blood clots. By-and-large we did so and she even used her foam rollers in a rest area once. Those watching were amused but her hips felt much better afterwards.
